DUMB BELL:

An “Hour Glass” shape where the centre width is less than the width at its two ends.  Test specimens cut from sheet 2.2mm thick are cut with a Dumb Bell standard shape for Tensile, Modulus, Elongation at Break testing to DIN standards, for example.
