High performance polyurethanes are generally hot cast.  The raw materials are heated and mixed (preferably under vacuum in computer controlled mixing and dispensing machines) and are poured , ie cast, into heated moulds.  Oven curing , followed by an ambient rest period ensures the products reach optimum physical properties.  Mould costs tend to be low due to the low pressures involved.
