Term Description

BLOW HOLES:

true blow holes are created when moisture has reacted with the isocyanate to give off carbon dioxide.  When controlled, this can be a good thing, in that foams can be created but generally in hot cast parts, weak polyurethanes are created.  Some mixed-in air may not be detrimental on some applications, the use of mixing and dispensing machines, rather than hand casting tends to eliminate this problem.
