From our modern premises in Retford, Nottinghamshire, PPL Polyurethane Products Ltd. offer help and advice to ensure you use the correct grade of urethane solid elastomer for your application. We have mould making facilities and post machining services are available, including water jet cutting, turning, grinding, milling etc.

Heavy investment in state of the art, computer controlled, mixing and dispensing machines ensures the perfect mix for optimum performance, repeatable on every order. This level of investment sets PPL Polyurethane Products Ltd apart from the “bucket and chuck it” manufacturers, who rely upon hand mixing.

Polyurethane products are tough, abrasion resistant alternatives to rubber, plastics and metals. Non-marking, impact resistant, noise reducing and with good chemical, seawater and ozone resistance, polyurethane parts can be made softer than a pencil rubber or harder than nylon, or any hardness between. Abrasion resistance is the key feature…polyurethane often outlasts rubber by 6 -10 times and outlasts metals in pipes, pumps etc. by 8 times when abrasive slurries are involved.

PPL manufacture polyurethane castings, mouldings, sheet etc using Adiprene® , Vibrathane ®, Vulkollan ®, Neuthane ®, Ureflex ®, Diprane ® and all of the top grade raw materials, at our Retford, UK plant.

Versatility and innovation keep PPL Polyurethane Products Ltd. at the forefront of Urethane processing. PPL mould 400,000+ of some components per year, yet one offs of others. Castings over 200 kgs have been made but we have also made parts weighing grammes. When required, we have cast over 12 tonnes per day using one of our high output machines (this was for a high volume offshore job with a short lead time). Metal reinforcements can be bonded in or encapsulated to add inner stiffness. Tough environments will use polyurethane parts and PPL supply to Blue Chip companies producing Heavy Earthmoving Equipment, Agricultural Machines, Offshore Equipment, Mining and Quarrying Plant, Conveyors, Materials Handling Equipment etc.
